Antique Singing Bowls Foundation Course

May 11th (Sat) & 12th (Sun), June 15th (Sat) & 16th (Sun) 1:30~7:30pm

This 4-day course over two weekends will give you the foundation to be able to use with one bowl of the Seven Chakra bowls for self-healing and healing of family and friends. You will learn the theory, techniques with ample practicing time during the course.

The power of the sound healing using ancient Tibetan Singing Bowls is indescribably profound and alters our consciousness for positive transformation.

It not only can penetrate the body at the cellular level as transfiguration to ease pain, but also open our energetic body to healing, regeneration, and restoration to regain balance and harmony.

Shima Healing offers various singing bowl trainings, please read on to view the details. To ensure the high quality of our trainings, our courses are consecutive – meaning they build up on each other.

Kundalini Reiki Level I, II & III Courses 

May 10th (Fri) 9:30~5pm: Kundalini Reiki Level I

May 13th (Mon) 9:30~5pm: Kundalini Reiki Level II

June 13th (Thu) 9:30~5pm: Kundalini Reiki Level III

                                                      Reiki Share at The White Room

This is a modern Reiki system developed by Ole Gabrielsen (Denmark) in 2008. It focuses on strengthening Kundalini fire energy through purifying all Seven Chakras by Attunement.

Kundalini Reiki is known to be a very specific and potent method of energy healing. It is often used for healing DNA and ancestral karmic issues, for improving physical health and enhancing mental clarity.

Level I: Cleanse and open the Heart, the upper three Chakras and the hands. Students learn a Mantra to activate Reiki energy.

Level II: Cleanse and open the lower three Chakras and enhances the Heart Chakra and the hands. Students learn a Mantra to activate Kundalini Fire energy.

Level III: Enhance all of seven Chakras and learn the final Mantra to heal specific issues.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese word that means ‘Universal Life Force Energy’. Simply put, this ‘hands-on’ therapy restores our physical, mental and emotional imbalances into original state of wellness. Once you learn the technique on how to channel the abundance of natural resource that is energy, it will be with you the rest of your life as a way to heal yourself, to heal others and any living beings such as animals and plants. It is not based on a belief system of any sorts – but simply follows the natural law of physics. You can be a conduit of Reiki energy so long as you do your daily practices.

A few benefits which everyone can obtain from Reiki are the reduction of tiredness and stress, the relief of physical and emotional pain, the increase of vital energy and happiness, and the shifting of old habitual patterns.

Come practice Meditation with us and experience the soothing, grounding and healing vibrations from the powerful ancient singing bowls that corresponds to our major 7 chakras. All warmly welcomed!

All proceeds of the evening will be donated to The Little Elephant project (an NGO) via Shima Healing, in partnership with SSHA. Donations are greatly welcomed & appreciated too!

The seed for growing and learning with children and teens was first planted in 2009, during Akiko’s time at the Nepal Angels Home, an orphanage in Kathmandu. The name Little Elephant represents passing on of healing wisdom to the next generation. Elephants are highly intelligent creatures which are also the symbol of Thailand. In ancient Himalayan beliefs, the elephant god Ganesha is the remover of obstacles from our souls. The word “Little”in the name represents offspring, and expresses the essence of the Little Elephant project, which is to nurture the next generations to be custodians of ancient healing wisdoms.

The birthing of the Little Elephant Project (LEP) came with the arrival of Akiko Igarashi on the island of Koh Yao Noi in 2010. Since then, the local community on the island has received holistic healing when they are in need, experienced yoga in the village school, participated in village clean-up campaigns led by Shima Healing, as well as gifted toys and snacks annually on Children’s Day.

Come experience the art of sharing, giving and receiving positive energy without expectations. Everyone warmly welcomed, including those without any experience and healers too. Open to anyone who would like to try Energy Healing,  no experience required, just come with an open heart!

Akiko Igarashi is a distinguished teacher of healing. She is a Reiki Instructor, a Qigong practitioner, a Yoga teacher, and a Tibetan Singing Bowl Master. Above all else, Akiko is a dedicated student of life. Her practice of inner stillness and focus began at a young age. Born in Hokkaido, Japan, she was raised in the Eastern tradition of mindful living and the knowing of the interconnectedness of all beings in our existence.

For many years, Akiko chose a corporate life path, yet the practice of cultivating inner wisdom was never far from her heart, or her mind. Akiko walked the pilgrimage route of Camino de Santiago Compostela three times, volunteered in orphanages, and studied healing with teachers in far-off places of Nepal, India and Japan. Through her own journeys, Akiko embodies the understanding that to heal others we must heal ourselves first. This healing of the self comes from a willingness to see, feel and listen to the messages within. And from that point of bliss, greater joy is experienced by giving, and receiving in return. This is the gift Akiko wishes to share with the world through the Shima Healing Institute and its associated projects.

Akiko can be found at the Shima Healing Institute in Thailand facilitating courses, or conducting workshops in Asian countries and Europe in the summer. When she is not teaching, practicing or traveling, Akiko is rock climbing, composing children’s science fantasy literature, writing calligraphy works, and creating new projects that uplifts communities. And of course, she makes sure there is always time to just do nothing, and be.

五十嵐敦岐江是一个地道的日本北海道人，她创建了“Shima疗愈”工作室。她在2003年成为一位能量治疗师（灵气疗愈从业者），在2005年获得了哈他瑜伽教师资质，并于2006年在印度完成瑜伽治疗教师的培训。

在经历了十一年计算机公司的职业生涯之后，当她于2009年在加德满都（尼泊尔首都）的一所孤儿院为30个孩子教授瑜伽之时，她找到了自己的激情所在和真正要走的路。在那个时刻，她的体内回响起西藏颂钵的美妙声音，引发了她的强烈共鸣，并深深地地打动了她。

这一段经历深度并永远地改变了她的生活方向，自此之后，她以分享疗愈艺术的智慧为自己的使命，并献身于儿童健康与关爱事业中。自从命中注定的那天到来之后，她成为了一位全职瑜伽老师，同时在泰国瑶诺岛（Koh Yao Islands）上的诸多度假胜地开设西藏颂钵疗愈与能量治疗课程，比如瑶诺天堂（Paradise Koh Yao）,六感（ Six Senses）, 尼拉玛雅（Niramaya）, 艾力克赛尔（Glow Elixir ），岛屿瑜伽（ Island Yoga）。

她教授各种疗愈艺术的首要目标是增强个人的信心与力量，她期待能够在有限的生命中接触到更多的人们，因此她创建了“Shima疗愈中心”作为一个培训学校并用于她的“治疗师学习项目”（TTP）。她的教学风格非常开放与充满乐趣。

她持续地旅行在世界上诸多绝妙而充满高能量的地方，同时开办瑜伽和疗愈工作坊。她还经常举办西藏颂钵慈善音乐会。你可以在冬季的亚洲和夏季的欧洲或土耳其找到五十嵐敦岐江的身影，在此外的时间里，她不断地学习新技能，为儿童写书，或者放空自己（进行“什么都不去做”的练习）。最重要的是，她非常享受与自然相处的一切时间。
